We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Repair & Service Technician to help maintain high-quality technical equipment to exceptional operational standards. This role is central to ensuring equipment is repaired, serviced, tested, and ready for deployment across live events and installations.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining asset reliability, reducing downtime, and extending the lifecycle of equipment through proactive maintenance and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Repair & Fault Finding: Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across lighting, audio, AV, and associated production equipment, escalating specialist issues where required.
- Testing & Quality Control: Thoroughly test equipment following repairs and as part of ongoing QC procedures, ensuring all assets meet required standards before returning to stock or deployment.
- Operational Support: Work closely with warehouse, prep, and project teams to prioritise urgent repairs and support equipment availability.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing and scheduled maintenance to ensure reliability, safety, and readiness of equipment.
- Service Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate repair logs, service histories, and maintenance records, highlighting recurring faults and replacement needs.
- Stock & Parts Management: Monitor spare parts and consumables, assist with sourcing components, and support cost-effective repair decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, testing procedures, and workshop efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in equipment repair, servicing, or technical maintenance within live events, AV, lighting, or audio environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Practical knowledge of lighting systems, audio equipment, and AV technologies.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance, testing, and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and relevant health & safety standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
