Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Service & Install Engineer to join our clients growing team. You'll provide reactive and preventative support to customers, ensuring systems remain reliable and fully operational, while also supporting installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across customer environments.
- Deliver preventative maintenance, repairs, and system health checks.
- Take ownership of support incidents through to resolution.
- Install, configure, test, and commission equipment.
- Support technology refresh, upgrade, and expansion projects.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Build positive customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
- Ensure all work meets company and customer standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Service, Field Service, or Install Engineer role.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Installation and commissioning experience.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience within managed service or SLA-driven environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms and meeting room technologies.
- Structured cabling and infrastructure installation experience.
- Relevant industry certifications or manufacturer accreditations.
