As Senior Scenic Project Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of complex scenic and staging projects from concept through to installation.
You'll work closely with clients, designers, workshop teams, suppliers and technical departments to ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.
You'll bring significant experience in scenic construction and live event production, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client relationships and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple scenic production projects from initial brief through to completion.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyse project briefs and develop practical, creative solutions.
Produce technical construction drawings using Auto CAD or similar CAD software.
Prepare quotations, budgets and project documentation.
Specify appropriate construction methods, materials and finishes.
Coordinate workshop, warehouse and technical teams to deliver projects efficiently.
Produce scenic build schedules and construction documentation.
Manage logistics, suppliers and subcontractors.
Lead onsite installations and venue transformations.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Monitor project performance and provide leadership and mentoring to team members.
Adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
You'll ideally have
6+ years' experience in scenic project management within the live events, exhibition or entertainment industries.
Strong knowledge of scenic construction methods, materials and finishes.
Proficiency in Auto CAD or similar CAD software.
Experience preparing quotations, budgets and project documentation.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong commercial awareness.
Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
Experience leading teams, contractors and suppliers on-site.
The ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
