About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Digital Event Technology Manager to join our growing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and live events—delivering seamless digital experiences from concept through to execution.
You’ll play a key role in building and managing event platforms, supporting live events, and driving innovation through automation and emerging technologies (including AI). If you enjoy problem-solving, working across multiple systems, and making events run flawlessly, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Event Technology Delivery
- Build, configure, and support event platforms including websites, registration systems, mobile apps, and on-site tech
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure everything runs smoothly before events go live
- Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues
- Manage and support end-to-end workflows across multiple platforms
- Introduce automation to reduce manual tasks and minimise errors
- Explore and implement new tools (including AI) that add real value
- Continuously improve internal processes and best practices
- Assist with pre-event testing and rehearsals
- Provide on-site technical support when required
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
- Support data management and ensure accuracy across systems
- Produce post-event reports and insights (attendance, engagement, performance)
- Use data-driven insights to enhance future events
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with event technology platforms (e.g. websites, registration systems, apps, or similar)
- A curious mindset with a willingness to learn and experiment with new tools, including AI
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with WordPress
- Familiarity with event registration or ticketing platforms
- Ability to interpret Figma designs
- Experience using Google Workspace and Slack
