A leading AV integrator is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their service and support team, covering client sites across London. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong troubleshooting ability across modern AV and control systems who enjoys working directly with customers and solving technical challenges on-site.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial AV systems. You'll be travelling throughout London, ensuring clients' systems run smoothly and efficiently while representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of AV and control systems
  • Support, maintain, and optimise Crestron, Q-Sys, Extron, Shure, and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) environments
  • Conduct system checks, firmware updates, testing, and configuration adjustments
  • Document service visits and communicate clearly with internal engineering teams
  • Build strong relationships with end users through excellent customer service
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality

Required Experience

  • Proven background as a Field Service Engineer within the AV integration industry
  • Strong understanding of control systems and audio DSP troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Crestron, Q-Sys, Extron, Shure, and MTR technologies
  • Ability to work independently, plan your day, and solve problems under pressure
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
  • Full right to work in the UK
