About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Freelance AV Technician to provide onsite support across their offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. This role involves delivering high‑quality meeting room support, preventative maintenance and responsive break/fix services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite AV/IT support across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
- Handle meeting room setup, live event support and technical troubleshooting
- Perform preventative maintenance on AV systems to ensure reliability
- Deliver efficient break/fix support for AV and UC equipment
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors when needed
- Keep accurate logs, reports and equipment documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with AV systems including videoconferencing (Teams, Zoom), displays, DSPs, microphones and control systems
- Confident supporting users in professional, corporate environments
- Excellent fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Professional, proactive and customer‑focused manner
- Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
