Audio Visual Installation and Service Engineer

Job Title: AV Engineer (£35,000 – £40,000 + vehicle + benefits + OT) (Maidenhead)

Role Overview

Our Client has an excellent opportunity for a skilled and proactive AV Engineer to join their technical team.

The role involves the planning, testing, installation, and servicing of Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing (VC) systems across various job sites. You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure installations are delivered on time, meet client requirements, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Onsite (90%) Practical Work:

• Installation, testing, and configuration of AV and Video Conferencing systems
• Rack building and cable management
• Fault-finding, testing, and post-installation servicing of AV systems
• Preparing and maintaining installation tools, documentation, and consumables
• Liaising with clients and site contacts in a professional manner
• Work in a hands-on, dynamic, and technically diverse role
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge AV technologies and continuous upskilling opportunities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4 years\’ experience in AV installation and service roles
• Strong understanding of AV systems, VC platforms, codecs, and firmware updates
• Excellent communication skills-verbal and written-across all levels
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Full, clean UK driving licence
