Summary
This role will involve working as part of the operations teams providing commissioning services of installed equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise and support the Project Manager in the delivery of ongoing projects.
- Provide technical support to other internal departments, clients, and contractors for the duration of the projects.
- Fault finding systems and resolve issues associated with design and manufacture.
- Commission systems in terms of their electronics, mechanics, and optics to meet the needs of client scope.
- Programming of audio DSPs, setup of digital video systems, and setup of video conferencing systems.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure technical knowledge is gained.
- Successfully deliver projects.
- Physically setup elements of systems to prove the concept.
- Production of project-specific test sheets, updating IP schedules.
- Firmware updates, DSP configuration and optimisation, anything IP related (on site).
- Provide user training to the end client.
- Compilation of project status reports (where applicable) for both internal and external use.
Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience commissioning Corporate and AV systems.
- Excellent technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment from all major brands.
- AVIXA registered Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
- Extron Pro DSP certification.
- Shure Microflex Advanced.
- QSC Level 2.
- QSC Control 201.
- Biamp Tesira Forte.
- Crestron NVX networking qualification.
- Experience with Crestron Toolbox.
- IP networking and AV over IP solutions.
- Cisco and Poly configuration experience.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Proactive and able to multitask.
- Teams Rooms / Zoom configuration experience.
- Good communication and IT skills.
