About the role: We are working with a multi-based academy trust in West London that are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Audio Visual and Events Manager to support and oversee their audio-visual (AV) needs across four schools in West London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise in AV systems, be a natural problem-solver, and possess the ability to coordinate with internal teams and third-party contractors to deliver exceptional concerts, events, and productions. This is a dynamic role requiring both technical proficiency and the ability to manage and execute large-scale events and productions, with a high level of technical knowledge and outstanding team working skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on AV Manager technical experience, ideally within a school, education, or live event environment.
- Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale events, including concerts, productions, and live shows.
- Strong knowledge of AV equipment (sound systems, lighting, projection, video, etc.), including setup, troubleshooting, and operation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with AV software and hardware, including digital audio consoles (Midas), lighting control systems (Zero 88, ETC Ion and AVOLITES), projectors, and video editing software.
- Experience with signal routing, live mixing, and media streaming for events.
- Strong understanding of AV system integration and troubleshooting techniques.
