This is a hands-on role. You won't simply be managing projects from behind a desk - you'll be involved in the detail, on site, in the warehouse and working alongside our technical teams to make things happen.
You'll be responsible for understanding the brief, designing systems, assessing equipment requirements, producing technical documentation and ensuring our teams have everything they need to deliver successfully.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with account managers and producers to understand client requirements and develop accurate equipment specifications and technical solutions .
- Designing systems with efficiency, reliability and real-world deployment in mind.
- Producing
CAD plans, schematics, technical drawings and event information documents .
- Assessing equipment requirements and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure the correct kit is available, prepared and dispatched.
- Overseeing the technical installation, implementation and safe removal of event equipment.
- Producing relevant event health & safety and technical documentation .
- Ensuring technicians are fully briefed, equipped and prepared before going on site.
- Providing technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying potential technical, logistical or operational issues before they become problems .
- Troubleshooting issues quickly and calmly when things don't go according to plan.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent technical knowledge of event delivery and AV systems across multiple disciplines.
- A strong understanding of both analogue and digital AV systems .
- Component-level knowledge of professional AV equipment and how systems integrate together.
- Proven experience working within live events, event production or technical production .
- Experience designing technical systems and producing detailed event documentation.
- Experience managing technicians and overseeing technical delivery on site.
- Proficiency with
CURRENT RMS .
- Confidence working with CAD and producing technical plans.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A proactive attitude and the confidence to take ownership.
- A genuine passion for technology and live events.
- A full, clean manual driving licence .
