An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Children’s Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to join a specialist solo EBD home providing 2:1 care support for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This company is committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care within a stable and nurturing environment, ensuring each child receives the tailored support they need to thrive. The home operates with 24/7 staffing and a strong focus on safeguarding, relationship-based care and positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the home, developing the staff team and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations whilst creating a safe and supportive environment for the young person in placement.

The Role
  • Lead the day-to-day running of a solo EBD children’s home
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are consistently maintained
  • Support, mentor and develop the staff team
  • Promote positive outcomes for young people through therapeutic and child-centred care practices
  • Work closely with external professionals, families and local authorities
  • Drive continuous improvement and prepare for Ofsted inspections
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care
  • Current Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for young people with EBD needs
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
