An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Children’s Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to join a specialist solo EBD home providing 2:1 care support for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This company is committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care within a stable and nurturing environment, ensuring each child receives the tailored support they need to thrive. The home operates with 24/7 staffing and a strong focus on safeguarding, relationship-based care and positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the home, developing the staff team and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations whilst creating a safe and supportive environment for the young person in placement.
The Role- Lead the day-to-day running of a solo EBD children’s home
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are consistently maintained
- Support, mentor and develop the staff team
- Promote positive outcomes for young people through therapeutic and child-centred care practices
- Work closely with external professionals, families and local authorities
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare for Ofsted inspections
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care
- Current Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
- Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people with EBD needs
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Competitive salary package of £45,000 – £60,000 per annum
