Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for floating support for Children in Kirklees. Everyday is different and you will face new challenges; we need staff members with a can-do attitude, who are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promote independence, serve as a role model, and achieve a successful home environment in line with the local authority care plan.
Requirements
- 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector
- Previous experience in a support worker or youth work is essential
- Flexible around travel arrangements
- Able to work flexibly (good availability)
- Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential)
- Social Care registered
- Experience taking children into the community
- Driving Licence (preferred)
