Prospero Health and Social Care are looking for enthusiastic Children and Young adult Support workers to Join our Team. This role would be suitable for someone who has experience working with Children and young Adults, Challenging Behaviours, and mental Health Job Description The role of the Children and Young adult Support Worker is to work directly with Children and Young Adults with a diverse range of needs, including learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, and complex challenging behaviours. You will find yourself working in a variety of settings, including the child’s own home, health and social care settings and out in the community. You will be required to support the individual’s needs by providing physical and emotional support. You will also manage the wellbeing and behaviour’s you will be assisting with the care plans, risk assessments, reviews, incident & accidents reporting. You will need to Maintain professional relationships with clients, family and external health care professionals at all times. We need you to: Be Able adapt and act accordingly to situations. Be Able to maintain A high level of patience and emotional resilience. Be Non-judgmental regardless of a person’s needs and behaviours Able to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations. Experienced in working in a similar setting.To be considered or this role you will need: At least 12 Months work experience working with children and young people with mental health issues and complex needs in the UK – essential 3 years of references without gaps – essential An over sea’s police check if required A full driver’s licence – Preferable An enhanced DBS check on the update service as well as a clean criminal record.
