About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Contact Supervisors / Children's Support Workers to support children and families in and around Reading. This role involves supervising family contact sessions and/or providing direct support to children in a safe, professional, and child-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising contact between children and family members in line with care plans
  • Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs of children are always prioritised
  • Providing clear, accurate reports following contact sessions
  • Working professionally with families, social workers, and other professionals
  • Offering practical and emotional support to children as required

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with children and families
  • A calm, professional, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Driver preferred but not essential
