Role Overview: As a Family Support Worker, you will provide emotional, and social support to families experiencing difficulties. Youll work closely with children, parents, and carers to develop connect families to relevant resources and services. The goal is to foster a stable and nurturing environment for children and to help families overcome obstacles to leading fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities: · Provide one-on-one and group support to families, focusing on individual needs. · Focusing on child development, parenting, and relationship-building. · Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including social services, health professionals, and schools, to ensure coordinated support. · Assist families in accessing community resources · Offer guidance on parenting skills, child behaviour, and emotional well-being. · Provide crisis intervention when necessary, helping families navigate difficult situations. · Keep detailed records of interactions, progress, and outcomes for families.
