About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Contact Supervisors / Children's Support Workers to support children and families in and around Reading. This role involves supervising family contact sessions and/or providing direct support to children in a safe, professional, and child-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising contact between children and family members in line with care plans
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs of children are always prioritised
- Providing clear, accurate reports following contact sessions
- Working professionally with families, social workers, and other professionals
- Offering practical and emotional support to children as required
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children and families
- A calm, professional, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to work independently and follow safeguarding procedures
- Driver preferred but not essential
