Support Worker – Learning Disabilities & Mental Health Location: Jarrow, South Tyneside Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour – £27,000 per year equivalent Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (minimum 15 hours) – flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? This leading care provider is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join their supported living service in Jarrow, helping individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs to lead fulfilling lives. The Role: Provide person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing. Assist with personal care, daily living skills, and access to social, leisure, and work opportunities. Support individuals in managing their tenancies and finances. Encourage self-esteem, confidence, and participation in community life.
