Prospero Health & Social Care is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across the local area.

This is a community-based domiciliary care role, providing person-centred support that helps service users remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

You will travel between service users during your shift, with mileage paid at 25p per mile from your home, throughout your run and back home again.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include

  • Supporting service users with personal care
  • Assisting with mobility and moving and handling
  • Providing practical and emotional support
  • Supporting daily routines and independence
  • Completing relevant care notes and records
  • Working alongside another Care Assistant on 2:1 care packages.

Some opportunities involve working as part of a two-person care team, ensuring service users receive the appropriate level of safe and effective support.

Local work is available, with the option to accept additional shifts further afield where suitable.

Requirements

  • At least 12 months' paid Care Assistant experience
  • Experience providing personal care
  • Moving and handling experience
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application
  • A reliable, caring and flexible approach
