We are currently recruiting Child Support Workers to support vulnerable children and young people across a variety of settings, including supported living, crisis intervention services, and community-based support.
The Role - Duties & Responsibilities
As a Child Support Worker, you will assist individuals with:
- Emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Learning disabilities
- Mental Health Challenges
- Complex family backgrounds or safeguarding concerns
Your role will involve providing tailored care, building trusted relationships with young people, promoting independence and life skills, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment and working closely with social workers, families, and external professionals.
Essential Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- A valid Enhanced (Adult & Child) DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
- A minimum of 6 months UK-based care experience
- Able to provide 2 professional care-related references
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
- Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health and Social Care (desirable)
