Site Manager – Isle of Man

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of construction, M&E, and maintenance projects while ensuring excellent operational and commercial performance.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of construction, mechanical and electrical (M&E), and maintenance projects. You will ensure works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

• Manage projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and ensure delivery against programme milestones.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, recording progress and identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Escalate project concerns promptly and provide practical solutions.
• Maintain project records and support compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage site logistics, access arrangements, and work sequencing.
• Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.

Site Management

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Lead, motivate, and support site teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor performance and identify training and development needs.
• Promote a positive safety culture and high-performance working environment.
• Ensure works are completed to the required standards of quality and workmanship.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and permit-to-work documentation.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate health, safety, and compliance records.

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience in a Site Management role.
• Experience within construction, facilities management, maintenance, or M&E environments.
• A strong interest in Mechanical & Electrical services and a willingness to develop technical knowledge.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Full Isle of Man or UK Driving Licence
• IOSH Managing Safely Certification
• Understanding of Isle of Man Health & Safety requirements and construction regulations

Desirable Qualifications:

• SMSTS or SSSTS Certification
• First Aid at Work Qualifications
• Relevant construction, civil engineering, or building services qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
