The Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive (Performance Marketing) to play a pivotal role in optimising and managing our digital marketing efforts across paid social, PPC & job board campaigns. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving performance marketing strategies that enhance our visibility, engagement, and candidate conversions. This is a data-driven role, requiring strong analytical skills to track campaign performance, report insights, and make strategic recommendations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximise ROI across all paid channels while ensuring brand consistency and campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Marketing Strategy - Develop and execute paid social, PPC, and job board strategies to drive candidate attraction and brand visibility alongside the Marketing Director.
  • Campaign Optimisation - Continuously monitor and improve ad performance, budget allocation, and bidding strategies to enhance conversion rates.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Extract, analyse, and present marketing performance data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with internal teams (sales, finance, HR, PR) and external agencies to deliver high-performing campaigns.
  • Process Improvement - Identify weaknesses in current marketing processes, propose innovative solutions, and lead their implementation.
  • Content & Creative Input - Collaborate with the wider Marketing and creative teams to develop engaging ad creatives and landing pages.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Marketing Expertise - Proven experience in performance marketing, paid media, and data analysis (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Data-Driven Mindset - Ability to interpret complex data, build reports, and use insights to optimise campaigns.
  • Industry Knowledge - Background in recruitment marketing/employer branding is a plus.
  • Budget Management - Experience handling annual advertising budgets exceeding £100,000.
  • Strategic & Hands-On - Ability to plan and execute marketing strategies effectively.
  • Process-Oriented - Strong critical thinking skills to identify and improve internal and external processes.
