About the Role:
We are looking for a Service & Quality Manager to support and oversee our Health & Social Care staff delivering care across local authority placements. Covering Liverpool, Manchester, and North Wales, you will be the driving force behind service quality, staff development, and safeguarding standards.
In this crucial role, you will ensure every placement delivers exceptional care in line with individual care plans, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements. You will support and develop teams, lead on quality audits and safeguarding issues, and build strong relationships with clients and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure placements follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols
- Conduct staff supervisions, visits, and spot checks to maintain high standards
- Support the implementation of quality assurance frameworks
- Act as the lead for safeguarding concerns, escalating where appropriate
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to staff
- Liaise with local authorities and other professionals to meet care objectives
- Champion best practice in children's residential care
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children's residential care setting
- Qualifications: Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted or Care Inspectorate Wales standards
- Leadership: Confident managing teams, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance
- IT Skills: Comfortable using systems to manage data, reports, and communications
