Prospero CES is seeking an experienced Education Therapy Coordinator to design, implement and manage robust systems that track, evidence and report therapy provision across our referrals.
This role is central to ensuring that therapy work delivered through Prospero CES is measurable, compliant and impactful, aligning clearly with each child or young person's EHCP outcomes. You will build a strong operational framework that supports therapy staff, demonstrates progress effectively, and meets all quality assurance and reporting expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) to track progress across all therapy roles
- Develop clear, consistent templates for baseline assessments, weekly updates and termly progress reports
- Adapt and maintain risk assessments specific to therapy activities to ensure safe practice
- Design and implement a therapy staff observation and evaluation system, using a competency framework focused on improving outcomes for children and young people
- Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to therapy staff to ensure accurate and consistent reporting
- Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure therapy provision meets Prospero CES standards, compliance requirements and reporting expectations
- Work collaboratively with education and therapy teams to ensure systems align with SLA targets and EHCP requirements
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience coordinating educational or therapy services within an NHS, school, local authority or care setting
- Strong understanding of EHCP outcomes and how therapeutic interventions support them
- Experience developing reporting systems, assessment templates and competency frameworks
- Confident communicator with the ability to train and support staff in new processes
- Highly organised, with the ability to assess, track and report progress clearly and accurately
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a short-term project independently
