About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to oversee one of our specialist services, supporting two males. The two individuals have a combination of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and additional complex conditions. One individual is a male in his 60s with a severe learning disability, autism (ASD), OCD, and complex partial epilepsy. The second individual is a male in his 20s with a moderate learning disability, autism, intermittent heterotropia, and epilepsy. Both require consistent, structured support tailored to their sensory, emotional, and communication needs. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm, predictable environment and ensuring that support is delivered with dignity, consistency, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

You will follow all support plans and risk assessments carefully, ensuring that each person’s routines, communication needs, and wellbeing are prioritised throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with their daily activities, personal care where required, and promoting independence in a way that is respectful and person‑centred. You will help maintain a structured environment, complete essential documentation accurately, and ensure that communication between team members is clear and consistent. You will remain attentive and responsive, following safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect, and using your training and judgement to provide calm, compassionate support at all times.
