At Prosperity Care & Wellbeing, we are passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care to vulnerable adults with complex needs.
Join a team that values compassion, innovation, and professional development. We offer a supportive environment, competitive salary, and a wide range of benefits designed to help you flourish - both in your career and personal life.
You will be joining a small team providing personalised, one-to-one support. The young man you will be working with would like to introduce himself in his own words:
"I am a young man with a brain injury looking for a fun, energetic personal assistant to join my team and help me get the most out of life. A bit about me - I'm into wheelchair skiing, Boccia, boxing, eating out and loads of outdoor activities. I do have dogs so you must be a dog lover - that's a non-negotiable! While I love being active, I also have down days where I like to relax, watch TV, play games, and just chill out. I also do regular physio and speech and language therapy, sometimes I find this boring and hard work, so I need staff who can bring lots of motivation, understanding and encouragement and who are creative and can make it as fun and interesting as possible."
You must have a clean, full UK driving licence to be able to drive the person we support's vehicle. You will also need relevant care experience and be comfortable wearing loose-fitting clothing to avoid sensory triggers. As mentioned, full training - especially around behaviour support and bespoke manual handling will be provided.
