The predicted salary is between 27800 - 36400 £ per year.

Location: Kingsway, Gloucester

Contract: 45 hours per week

Salary: £13.40 per hour (Job Grade: A)

This role is subject to a DBS check, which will be provided by Prosperity Care & Wellbeing.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team at a supported living service comprising 21 self-contained flats. Each individual in our service lives independently and receives tailored support based on their unique needs. The people we support may be living with a range of conditions including mental health challenges, autism, OCD, dementia, brain injury, trauma-related needs, and more.

Your role will involve working closely with the team to provide high-quality, person-centred support and to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a role model for best practice, leading and guiding the staff team while supporting individuals with daily living and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensure support plans are followed and regularly reviewed.
  • Promote independence and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete audits and ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
  • Work with external professionals and families.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service and team culture.

You will be skilled in supporting people with complex needs in a person-centred and trauma-informed way, be a strong communicator with team leadership experience, organised in managing daily service operations, and confident working under pressure and adapting to changing needs.
