The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Location: Newent

Shift pattern: between 7am - 10pm.

Hours: 45 hours per week

Pay rate: £13.80

A full UK driving licence is strongly preferred for this position.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to oversee 2 of our services, supporting people with diagnoses such as Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviours, and drug & alcohol dependency. This role combines hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, supporting the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centered care across the service. You will help create safe, structured, and empowering environments while contributing to the development and confidence of the wider staff team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts, guide Support Workers, and oversee daily care to ensure it follows individual support plans.
  • Manage challenging behaviours, contribute to care planning and risk assessments, promote independence, maintain accurate records, work with families and professionals, and travel between services as required.
