What will the HR Manager role look like for you?
We are looking for a 4‑month cover to help with the smooth running of Prosperity Care & Wellbeing by ensuring that all company processes are compliant with employment regulations and that everyone acts in line with company policies. A large part of the job involves supporting current staff by dealing with employee grievances or conflicts, managing sickness, updating policies and procedures, upskilling our managers and everything related. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to set up and grow the HR department for the business, bringing your amazing ideas to fruition. This is an ever‑evolving role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with several different departments within the business and play a vital part in the progression of the company and the department. You will have the voice to input ideas in any area of the business that will be valued and listened to.
What we are looking for in a HR Manager
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent interpersonal skills and should enjoy social interaction. You should have a good understanding of business functions, strategic thinking, and good organisational skills. You will have experience improving HR initiatives, enhancing staff morale, contributing to attaining business goals, and promoting good HR practices. This role will be suited to a proactive and passionate person who thrives in a busy environment. You will be the first in HR which leaves the opportunity for not only progression but for you to really make this department your own.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Confident managing and resolving ER cases
- Strong understanding of UK Employment Law
- CIPD qualification would be advantageous
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices
- Experience of working within Health & Social Care is advantageous
- Proven ability to coach and develop line managers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Have a zero tolerance of abuse or discrimination
- Experience in Overseas Recruitment is advantageous
