The predicted salary is between 13 - 13 £ per hour.

Location: Cheltenham

Shift Pattern: 7am – 10pm

Hours: 45 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

About the Person You’ll Be Supporting & Your Role

As a Support Worker, you'll be supporting a young woman in her 20s who has an acquired brain injury (ABI). She is sociable, outgoing, and enjoys an active lifestyle, with a strong focus on building her independence. She loves spending time in the community, meeting people, and taking part in activities.

This is a rewarding 1:1 role where you'll support her to access the community, enjoy meaningful activities, and work towards her personal goals. You'll play an important part in helping her live a fulfilling life while promoting her confidence, wellbeing, and independence.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and positive Support Worker who enjoys helping people achieve their goals and get the most out of life. You'll be confident supporting someone in the community, encouraging independence, and building a strong, trusting relationship. A flexible, resilient approach is important, along with the ability to remain calm and supportive when managing changes to plans or expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 support at home and in the community.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting personal goals.
  • Supporting participation in social, leisure, and community activities.
  • Building a positive, engaging, and trusting relationship.
  • Helping to manage transitions and changes in routine.
  • Following care plans and support strategies.
  • Promoting safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
