Location: Gloucester

Shift pattern: 45 hours (7am – 10pm)

Pay rate: £15.09 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to oversee one of our specialist services, supporting two males. The two individuals have a combination of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and additional complex conditions. One individual is a male in his 60s with a severe learning disability, autism (ASD), OCD, and complex partial epilepsy. The second individual is a male in his 20s with a moderate learning disability, autism, intermittent heterotropia, and epilepsy. Both require consistent, structured support tailored to their sensory, emotional, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all support plans and risk assessments carefully
  • Support individuals with their daily activities and personal care where required
  • Promote independence in a way that is respectful and person‑centred
  • Help maintain a structured environment
  • Complete essential documentation accurately
  • Ensure communication between team members is clear and consistent
  • Remain attentive and responsive, following safeguarding procedures and promoting dignity and respect
