Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher (SEN) to join our team at Prospect House Primary Specialist School. This is a fixed‑term, full‑time role to cover maternity leave. The salary is on teaching terms offering MPS‑UPS plus SEN allowance, starting in October 2026 until August 2027.

The Opportunity
As pupil numbers increase, we are seeking an experienced and confident SEN teacher who is ready to contribute to and help shape our high‑quality specialist provision in a growing school.

- Substantial experience working with pupils with severe, profound and/or complex learning difficulties
- Understanding of communication needs, sensory regulation and personalised curriculum design
- Passion for embedding an "I can do" culture
- Desire to influence practice beyond one’s own classroom

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly personalised curriculum tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
- Plan, teach and assess learning in line with pupils’ complex needs
- Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
- Support and model effective specialist practice
- Work closely with therapists, families and external agencies
- Contribute to self‑evaluation and continuous school improvement
