This is a Grade 5, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £24,998 and the full-time equivalent salary is £29,064.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the care of the school’s animals, promoting responsibility, wellbeing and hands-on learning.
- Support the structured curriculum, leading the resourcing and organisation within the structured department.
- Assist pupils to develop animal care skills and collaborate with teachers to enhance learning outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEN) with a specialisation in animal care and structured curriculum. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, empathetic and tactful, able to build excellent interpersonal relationships with pupils, teachers, parents and external stakeholders, and work collaboratively to drive continuous improvement and support student success.
