We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of RE and Humanities to join our fantastic team at MEA Central. This is a permanent, full‑time role starting in September 2026. The salary for this post is MPS/UPS on the Teachers Pay Scale.
About the Role
MEA Central is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Religious Education and Humanities to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people in a vibrant, inclusive school community. The successful candidate will teach Religious Education and Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4. They will plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning. They will demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, and work as a committed team player with excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- a qualified teacher with a specialism in RE and Humanities
- have strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands‑on learning
- deliver consistently high‑quality teaching that inspires and motivates students
- have high expectations of students’ progress, achievement and behaviour
