We are delighted to offer a passionate and committed Teacher of Girls Physical Education to join our team at CHS South. CHS South is an 11‑16, eight‑form entry mixed comprehensive school opened in 2018 and serving 1,200 students. The school offers a broad and forward‑thinking curriculum, a strong culture of professional growth, and a commitment to staff wellbeing.

The post holder will secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in PE, ensuring that all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote the academic progress, wellbeing and positive behaviour of all students.
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive lessons across Physical Education.
  • Contribute to the development of an ambitious PE curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor and report on progress, implementing timely interventions.
  • Work collaboratively within the PE team to support the school’s vision.
  • Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise.
  • Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities.
  • Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners.
