We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Performing Arts (Drama and Music) to join our fantastic team at MEA Central. This is a permanent, full‑time role starting September 2026. The salary for this post is MPS/UPS on the Teachers Pay Scale.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Teacher of Performing Arts (Drama & Music) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in both Drama and Music. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high‑quality lessons in Drama and Music that motivate and challenge students
- Foster a love of the performing arts and encourage participation in extracurricular activities
- Contribute to school productions, performances and events
- Support the continued development of the Performing Arts curriculum
- Work collaboratively within a supportive department and wider school team
