We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish specialism) to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. This is a fixed term contract for one term, Teaching terms Main-Upper payscale, to start on 1st September - 31st December 2026.
We’re looking for:
- A qualified and experienced Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) with French and Spanish specialism, eligible to work in the UK with successful experience in the 11-16 phase.
- The ability to teach Spanish and French at KS3, demonstrating thorough subject knowledge and an understanding of current MFL curriculum developments.
- The ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning.
- Experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils and a passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
- Excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
Main purpose of the job:
The post holder's key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
