We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Teacher of Computing and Business to join our fantastic team at CHS South. CHS South is an 1116, eight‑form entry, mixed comprehensive school opened in 2018 in conjunction with Chorlton High School. Our state‑of‑the‑art building opened in September 2021 and serves 1200 students. In our first Ofsted inspection in January 2023 we were graded Good in all areas.

The Role
The post holder will fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. The key purpose of the role is to secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in Computing and Business, ensuring that all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential. The post holder is accountable to the Curriculum Leader, Senior Leaders and ultimately the Headteacher.

- Plan and deliver high‑quality, inclusive lessons across Computing and Business
- Contribute to the development of an ambitious Computing and Business curriculum
- Assess, monitor and report on progress, implementing timely interventions
- Work collaboratively within the Computing and Business team to support the school’s vision
- Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise
- Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities
- Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required
- Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners
