We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School. This is a fixed term post for one academic term, starting September 2026 and ending December 2026 (Autumn Term) on Teaching terms MPS-UPS.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver outstanding computing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, including programming, digital literacy, and computer science
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
- Has strong subject knowledge in Computing or a related discipline

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
