Permanent Position: Recruitment Lead at Prospere Learning Trust. Grade 8, permanent, 35 hours per week, full‑time salary £41,771.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Trust’s recruitment strategy remains relevant, up to date and continues to meet operational needs while aligning with Trust policies, legislation, safer recruitment and good practice requirements.
  • Promote innovation in all areas of recruitment, including an enhanced use of data to support evidence‑based decision making across the Trust.
  • Lead, develop and support HR administration and communication colleagues to provide exceptional service to recruiting managers and candidates.
  • Design and deliver effective campaigns that attract candidates and support positive employee engagement.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant HR or business qualification, ideally accredited in job evaluation.
  • Substantial experience in managing recruitment and selection processes and advising on HR policy, particularly within the school sector.
  • Strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures, employment law and best practice, including teachers’ and support staff terms and conditions.
  • Experience of creating a positive candidate experience, using media, communications and social media platforms to attract and engage candidates.
  • Proficiency in recruitment and HR systems to produce accurate reports that support evidence‑based decision making and continuous improvement planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all sectors of the school community and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to assess implications, articulate risk and apply a pragmatic and commercially sound approach to resolving operational and strategic issues.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom; no sponsorship of visa applications.
