We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our central team at Prospere Learning Trust. Grade 5, 12-month fixed term contract. Working 35 hours per week, all year round. Starting salary £29,064. Expected start date 1 September 2026, contract ends 31 August 2027.
We’re looking for:
- An experienced Finance Administrator with experience in core transactional finance activities in both purchase and sales ledger.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and a collaborative approach focused on improvement and supporting the Trust’s vision, values and objectives.
- Demonstrated accuracy and precision when preparing, maintaining and monitoring financial data.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing activities.
- Previous experience in a school or education setting is highly desirable.
Main purpose of the job:
You will be part of the central finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer. You will be responsible for finance transactional processing in line with the Trust financial regulations and procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice.
