We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join Prospect House Primary Specialist School with key strategic and operational responsibilities linked to Curriculum, Teaching & Learning. This is a permanent post on leadership terms, payscale L9-L13, with a starting salary of Β£63,070 per annum. We are seeking an inspirational and highly skilled Deputy Headteacher with a strong commitment to curriculum quality, teaching excellence and inclusive practice. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a key strategic role in shaping the educational direction of the school while remaining rooted in day-to-day teaching and learning. There will be a regular teaching commitment of approximately 1.5 days per week.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about evidence-informed practice, specialist pedagogy, and developing others to secure the very best outcomes for pupils with complex needs. In the absence of the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher may be asked to take full responsibility for the leadership and management of the school.

Prospect House is a new free special primary school in Higher Blackley, North Manchester. The school is the first in the Trust to open north of the city, offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3β11 years old.
