We currently have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School. This is a permanent, full-time role on Teaching terms, offering MPS-UPS salary plus SEN allowance, to start September 2026. Pear Tree High School is a purpose-built SEND school at the heart of Cheadle Hulme, dedicated to providing an outstanding education for students with significant learning needs. It offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities for pupils from Key Stage 3 to post‑16, and works in partnership with parents, carers and agencies to help every student reach their full potential.

The Role

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher (SEN) to join our team.
  • This role involves fulfilling the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, while making a positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of our students.
  • Promote the progress, wellbeing, and engagement of all students.
  • Deliver personalised, high‑quality lessons that meet the learning needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy.
