We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA). This is a permanent post on Leadership Terms, pay scale L12-L16 £67,898 - £75,049. The role is to start on 1st September 2026.

We are seeking an ambitious and resilient leader to play a key role in the next stage of the school’s improvement journey. Following its recent Ofsted inspection, MEA is entering a period of significant and rapid development. We are seeking a committed professional who is motivated by challenge, driven by impact, and determined to secure the very best outcomes for all pupils.

  • Experience of leading whole-school or significant areas of improvement (e.g. attendance, behaviour, curriculum, inclusion or outcomes)
  • A leader who can secure high standards of behaviour and foster a calm, purposeful learning environment
  • Someone who is committed to improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, pupils, families and external partners
  • A team player who values collaboration and contributes positively
