About Mary Astell Academy: The academy works with young people aged 11 to 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. We provide a full-time, broad and balanced education appropriate to pupils’ potential and needs, encouraging reintegration back into mainstream schools where possible. Students also access therapeutic interventions to support them in recognising and understanding triggers for their behaviours, exploring strategies to manage these experiences.
