EXPERIENCE in Children’s Residential Care IS ESSENTIAL. We are a 5 bed (EBD) Children’s Residential Home registered with Ofsted. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team who has the passion, drive and enthusiasm needed to provide outstanding care to our children.
Hours of work are an average of 40 hours per week, rota based, to meet the needs of the home.
Duties:
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Engage with children in a positive manner, promoting their social and emotional development through play and educational activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
- Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities.
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care.
