The Company: A thriving consultancy, specialising in providing professional expertise and market knowledge to developers, investors, policymakers and the supply chain. Founded back in 2016, initially operating purely as a Cost Management service. The company has since extended its service, now including project management, strategic advisory and construction integration. The spectrum of propositions offered is developed and evolved through an understanding of the changing market needs. The business is split with 60% on Cost Management and the other 40% on Project Management. Their projects cover a range of sectors including build to rent, later living, affordable housing, private for sale, student accommodation, hotels, strategic land, high rise, master planning and regeneration. Whilst they are residential led, projects tend to include mixed use with elements of amenities, commercial, retail and leisure.
The Role: They are seeking a motivated Cost Consultant to join their dynamic London-based team. This full-time, hybrid position entails the delivery of cost consultancy services for residential developments across the UK. In this role, they will work closely with clients and project teams, offering expert guidance and support throughout the project, from the acquisition phase to practical completion. Annual performance targets are set out at the start of the year, with mid/end of year reviews, tracking development and guiding you towards promotion.

Requirements for the Cost Consultant:
- Quantity Surveying Degree awarded by a UK university and accredited by the RICS
- MRICS or working towards this
- Demonstrable depth of experience in roles directly related to the provision of project Quantity Surveying services in a professional Quantity Surveying Consultancy firm
- Experience and understanding of the full RIBA Plan of Work Stages
- A proven ability to lead & deliver on time and provide a high-quality proactive service to clients
- A good communicator (written and verbal) who interacts well with Clients & other Consultants
