The Company: For over five decades, this multi-disciplinary construction consultancy has provided sector-leading services to both public and private sector clients. ‍The firm’s portfolio is notably diverse, encompassing everything from sensitive heritage restorations and sustainable new builds to complex interior fit-outs. ‍With a reputation built on technical expertise and long-standing client relationships, the team is recognised for a proactive, collaborative approach that delivers results across the entire lifecycle of an asset. ‍ The Role: As Building Surveyor, you will work across a variety of affordable housing & private residential projects across London and the South. ‍Values range between £100k - £100M. ‍ Office Location: South London ‍Head Count: 150+ ‍Project Sectors: Affordable Housing & Private Residential ‍ Requirements for the Building Surveyor: * Degree qualified – within a construction related discipline * Membership of RICS (or working towards this) * Excellent time management * Understanding of the needs and demands of clients and will to exceed their expectation * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal * Able to prioritise workload, planning ahead as required * Able to work individually or in a team * Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook * Good business development skills ‍ What can they offer you? * Highly competitive basic salary (negotiable DOE) * Incentivised discretionary bonus * Employee Ownership Bonus (tax free) * 25 days annual leave (not including public holidays) * Flexible/remote working (2-3 days WFH) * Enhanced maternity/paternity leave * Pension scheme (8% combined) * APC support (accessors in each office) * Annual professional subscription fees (e.g. RICS/MCIOB) * Ride to work scheme
