Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Building Surveyor to join our team in South London. The role involves working on a wide range of interesting projects across Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health sectors.

Responsibilities

You will work within a team of over 55 specialists, contributing to a third of the company's annual turnover. You will support projects with values ranging from £3M to £100M, and progress toward APC and MRCIS chartering.

Qualifications

  • Ambition and desire to become MRICS chartered
  • Degree‑qualified within a construction‑related discipline
  • Understanding of core building surveying and project management skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Understanding of client needs and a will to exceed their expectations
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and plan ahead
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
