Prospectus is recruiting for a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer for a UK-based charity that provides free, confidential support to people who are grieving after the death of someone close to them. This is a full-time permanent position, remote with occasional travel. Salary: £32,000 per annum.

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer will be responsible for proactively securing and growing income from a large portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, working collaboratively with funders and teams across the organisation to develop and submit compelling proposals. The postholder will ensure high-quality applications focused on an agreed range of cases for support, funder reporting, and prospect research.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively secure and grow income from a large portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations.
  • Collaborate with funders and teams across the organisation to develop and submit compelling proposals.
  • Ensure high-quality applications focused on an agreed range of cases for support.
  • Support funder reporting and undertake prospect research as part of preparing fundraising materials.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in successfully securing income from trusts and foundations.
  • Demonstrable experience of securing four- and five-figure grants.
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of funders with a high level of autonomy.
