Based in Peterborough and onsite for 3 days per week, this highly exciting and challenging role involves design, architecture, next-gen engineering and automation for Digital applications.
You will have technical oversight, coach and mentor a team of 30+ software developers whilst working directly with CTO, Head of Engineering and Architects to help execute the software engineering roadmap, scope, and deliverables.

Experience in a Principal Engineer or similar role

Expertise in .NET framework technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC)

Expertise in Cloud solutions preferably AWS, EC2, S3, Lambda etc.

Experience in Agile led technology projects (Value Stream model)

Knowledge of Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines & Automation tools

Understanding of Platform Engineering & SRE concepts

Understanding of Software Architecture and Design Patterns

Knowledge of Test Automation
